# The Aurorians

**What are Aurorians?**

The Aurorians are a collection of 10,000 playable NFTs that represent the OG citizens of Tokane! In addition to their unique appearance, they provide holders with a plethora of advantages and perks in and out of the games.

**What are the benefits of holding an Aurorian?**

* An Aurorian-exclusive loyalty system.
* Early access to future game modes.
* Voting rights in the DAOry decision-making process.
* Access to timed expeditions in which they can earn $AURY and other rewards.
* A 10% boost on OKA and TOKE earnings will be applied at the time of the weekly distribution if players held at least one Pathfinder Aurorian in SyncSpace during that entire week. This boost increases up to 20% for the Vanguard tier. Additionally, for every extra Pathfinder or higher Aurorian held, you will receive a 1% bonus, up to a maximum of 4 Aurorians.
* For each Synced Aurorian, you'll receive a crystal bonus in lands starting at 5% for one Aurorian, increasing up to 11% for having five.

**What are expeditions?**

[Expeditions](https://app.aurory.io/expeditions) are a gamified use case to give Aurorian NFTs more utility and provide holders with an opportunity to earn and collect rewards such as Neftie Eggs and $AURY. A revamp is in the works, so stay tuned!
