Village Quality of Life

  • While AFK, in a menu, or talking to an NPC, there is now a "Pause" icon above the head of the player that appears after sixty (60) seconds.

Lands

  • The Wild Nefties (encounters) will now appear with their stars above them.

  • The Elite/Boss Nefties will now appear in red.

  • Static-blocking Nefties that blocked the progression have been removed to avoid a punishing experience (except for the Tutorial land).

  • The density of Nefties will now increase progressively while chaining lands.

  • Larger lands appeared empty before; this has now been fixed.

  • The rarity distribution of Nefties in the lands has been revised. Meeting more starred Nefties will happen more often as the run progresses.

  • [Lower overall difficulty] The level distribution of Nefties has been revised. As a run progresses, wild Nefties (encounters) may appear 1 level higher than the first land, but never higher than that.

  • The rate and number of appearances of elites and bosses have been adjusted to better suit the difficulty progression.

Neftie Squad Menu

  • PvE & PvP squad are now merged together.

  • Squad menu is now displayed after selecting the destination in the portal menu.

  • The 'confirmation' button has been removed. Squads are now automatically saved when the menu is closed.

  • The squad leader is no longer automatically assigned to the first slot. Click on a Neftie to designate them as the Squad Leader.

Blitz

  • Critical fail odds have been reduced from 4% to 3%.

  • Fixed some boss abilities that didn't play out as designed.

Balancing

  • Consumables :

    • Potion of Revival

      • Now uses % based healing instead of flat values.

        • 1* : 25 HP > 50%

        • 2* : 35 HP > 60%

        • 3* : 50 HP > 70%

        • 4* : 65 HP > 80%

        • 5* : 80 HP > 90%

    • Potion of Hype :

      • 5* is now available, costs 100 crystals and gives +5 hype.

  • Bitebit

    • Raised Stormbreaker Zeal's Power from 70 to 75 and its Hype cost from 8 to 7.

  • Dipking

    • Dropped Riptide’s Power from 85 to 75.

  • Shiba Ignite

    • Raised Earthquake’s Power from 90 to 100.

    • Aurany’s Rage now also raises Shiba’s Attack and Defense if its HP is lower than that of the opponent (the initial effect remains unaffected).

    • Raised Fiery Rampage’s Power from 60 to 70.

    • Dropped Explosive Counter’s Hype cost from 4 to 3.

  • Dinobit

    • Dropped Knockdown's Power from 75 Power to 60.

  • Zzoo

    • Sand Echoes no longer cleanses Zzoo on hit.

  • Block Choy

    • Raised Sapling Smack’s Power from 30 to 35.

    • Replaced Minty Protection with Spice Layer.

    • Raised Vampiric Root’s Power from 70 to 75 and its Lifesteal from 35% to 40%.

    • Raised Frosted Bolt’s Power from 50 to 55.

    • Ether Whirlwind now also raises Chocomint’s Speed by 1 stage for 3 turns.

    • Dropped Sun Blast’s Hype cost from 9 to 8.

  • Cybertooth

    • Balance Shift now costs 5 Hype and now raises Cyber’s Defense and Attack by 1 stage for 3 turns and drops its opponent's Defense and Attack by 1 stage for 3 turns.

  • Shibark

    • Raised Frenzied Howl's Hyoe from +2 to +3.

    • Raised Flame Spark’s Power from 25 to 35.

  • Raccoin

    • Raised Vigor Heist’s Power from 10 to 20.

    • Slack Off now drops Raccoins's Defense until the end of the turn instead of 2 turns.

  • Unikirin

    • Recharge now also raises Unikirin’s Defense by 1 stage for 2 turns.

    • Raised Electrical Overload’s Power from 135 to 150 and now it cleanses Unikirin instead of resetting its Speed.

  • Dracurve

    • Dropped Draconic Roar’s Power from 20 to 15.

  • Bloomtail

    • Dropped Vampiric Bloom’s Lifesteal from 60% to 50% of the damage dealt.

  • Keybab

    • Raised Fiery Rampage’s Power from 60 to 70.

    • Raised Burning Confidence’s Power from 55 to 60.

  • Chocorex

    • Raised Tough Act’s Defense buff from 1 to 2 stages.

    • Raised Crashing Wave’s Power from 40 to 70.

    • Raised Generous Bite’s Power from 95 to 110.

  • Walpuff

    • Dropped Armored Blow’s Power from 155 to 150, added a -5 stages self Defense debuff as secondary effect and dropped the Hype cost from 9 to 8.

  • Ghouliath

    • Dropped Soul Siphon’s Hype Cost from 5 to 4.

    • Dropped Blightquake’s Hype Cost from 5 to 4.

    • Raised Accursed Flame’s Power from 50 to 65 and extended the duration of the curse to 3 turns.

  • Tokoma

    • Raised Sky’s Fury's Power from 55 to 60.

    • Raised Earth’s Wrath’s Power from 55 to 60.

Economy

New OKA earning system

  • 3 Prime Nefties in the squad are now required to earn OKA.

  • Okanergy will be deducted from the assigned Squad Leader.

  • The stage unlock costs from the portal menu have been revised:

    • Stage 5 : 200 > 300 crystals

    • Stage 6 : 200 > 400 crystals

    • Stage 7 : 300 > 500 crystals

    • Stage 8 : 300 > 600 crystals

    • Stage 9 : 300 > 700 crystals

    • Stage 10 : 400 > 800 crystals

    • Stage 11 : 400 > 900 crystals

    • Stage 12 : 400 > 1000 crystals

  • Updated rewards in the lands

    • Crystal rewards will now properly scale based on land progression.

    • Crystal plants rewards have been adjusted and tied to stage rather than lands chained.

    • Crystals will now be distributed between 3 and 9 per plant depending on the stage and land chained. (Previously 1 and 6.)

    • Crystal rewards from elites and bosses have been increased:

      • Elites will always drop a minimum amount of 50 crystals.

      • Bosses will always drop a minimum amount of 100 crystals.

      • In addition to the minimum amount, bonus crystals will increase by the:

        • Enemy level and it’s rarity;

        • The level difference of the opponent;

        • Land index;

        • Number of Aurorians owned.

    • Egg drop rates have been modified related to the defeated Neftie rarity:

      • Standard eggs

        • 1*, 2* and 3* : 15% chance

        • 4* : 18.75% chance

        • 5* : 22.5% chance

      • Prime eggs

        • 1*, 2* and 3* : 1%

        • 4* : 1.25%

        • 5* : 1.5%

    • Minimum reward for battles with high level difference has been changed, players will always come out with a little something.

  • Costs of potions have been revised

    • Health Potion

      • 1* : 25 > 30 crystals

      • 2* : 35 > 50 crystals

      • 3* : 55 > 75 crystals

      • 4* : 120 > 125 crystals

    • Hype Potion

      • 3* : 50 > 40 crystals

      • 4* : 100 > 60 crystals

    • Revival Elixer

      • 1* : 75 > 80 crystals

      • 3* : 150 > 125 crystals

      • 4* : 200 > 175 crystals

      • 5* : 250 > 200 crystals
